About Initial Step

Initial Step started as small (and I mean spare bedroom in our house small) venture. Since then we have moved a couple of times, but have landed in our current location where we hope to be for a while.

In my previous life at the Harford Whalers (yes, those Whalers), which I will get into later, I knew change was coming. So in 1990 Initial Step became our "initial step”, in providing custom embroidery, sportswear, silk screen services and promotional products.

Over the twenty years we found that everybody had "a guy"- a shirt guy, a pen guy, a mug guy, and because we are small, and you are dealing with the owners, you can be certain you are getting personal attention, creativity, and prompt response.

We want to be your "guy" for ALL your promotional and marketing needs.
